Adrian College is a private, co-instructive aesthetic sciences school presenting four year certifications in 40 scholastic majors and projects. The school is situated in the city of Adrian, Michigan, a drive of around 45 minutes northwest of Toledo, Ohio, or 45 minutes southwest of Ann Arbor or an hour and a half southwest of Detroit. The 100 section of land (0.4 km²) grounds contains recently built offices alongside noteworthy structures. The school includes an assortment of athletic projects and also a theater office. Adrian College is partnered with the United Methodist Church and is authorize by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools in the United States. The fall 2013-14 understudy headcount was 1,649 understudies. The understudy focus is Caine.

The school had its starting point as a religious establishment established by Wesleyan Methodists at Leoni, Michigan, in 1845. This establishment converged with Leoni Seminary, another Methodist school, in 1855 to shape Michigan Union College. In 1859, that foundation shut and its benefits were exchanged to Adrian to build up Adrian College. The school was sanctioned by the Michigan Legislature on March 28, 1859, under the first president of the school, abolitionist Asa Mahan. In the early phases of the American Civil War the school volunteered itself as a base for the development of Michigan regiments for the Union side. The current Valade Hall building sits on the site of the previous base camp for these officers
